Embrace Your Essence
In this two day transformational workshop you will be guided
through a spiritual process of
"Metanoia" - emptying the old to put in the new.
You will work with a hammer, a sheet of copper, an acetylene
torch, and small hand tools.
Day 1: Through a process of writing, reflecting, heating and hammering
you will begin to build a relationship with your copper. The new sheet
of copper is representative of you as a newborn and the flame from the
acetylene torch represents love. You will use a hammer on the copper which will
represent your internal and external experiences of the world.
Throughout the day you will hammer, journal and anneal.
Day 2: The focus of this day is about opening up. While reflecting on the
process of hammering, you will begin to unfold the heavy and hardened
copper and will discover that the world has made you a beautiful peice of art.
This process takes effort and love, but will bring forth the
beauty of your essence.
At the end of day 2 you will take home a sculpture; a piece
of art that represents the process of embracing your essence.
We welcome couples and families to share in this process together.
